The Warren London and ShowSeason Nail Art Competition at Atlanta Pet Fair this year was a great success! The groomers that entered did a fabulous job of putting their (pet’s) best foot forward and showed off their artistic abilities with the Warren London Pawdicure Polish pens, The water based polish comes in 11 colors and are easy to use as a base to cover the whole nail and fine details by using the tip of the pen. The entries included Lovely Lady Bugs, flower power and peace signs; luscious lolli pops, dainty polka dots and pink cancer awareness ribbons, It was not easy to choose who would win this contest as they were all great , but a decision had to be made So our runner up is Heather Rogers from Bark of the Town in Oakdale , Tennessee with her entry called “Spring Fever” on Jake the giant schnauzers nails were baby blue skies with fluffy white clouds and butterflies l, such artistry in a small place. All the entries were great but one entry just jumped out at me, as our 1st place winner was submitted by Lisa Buchanan of Canine Capers in Warner Robbins Georgia with her entry titled “Mardi Paws” Lisa’s base color of blue with brilliant yellow paw prints meticulously placed on the end of each nail, was complimented with matching bows. I did not need to see the rest of the dog as the nails would have the first nothing to be noticed about this dog. Fabulous finishing touches can set off any groom; I can tell you that I have traveled a lot with Brook my pink standard poodle and much to my amazement on many occasions it was her nail art that were pointed at by admirers. Congratulations to you all as you all are winners!
